Let's Practice Those Tricky Phonograms!

There is something you should know about me. I really, really, really love laminating things. I love to make file folder games. I am currently going through Logic of English with my six year old. They really enjoy playing games to strengthen their phonogram skills so I have been making games that go along with the things we need extra practice with. One of the newer phonograms that we have needed extra help with is the "igh" blend. My child asked if I could make a game for more practice and here it is!

I recommend using a spinner or a dice that is 1-4. Its not the end of the world if you only have a 1-6 dice, but the games will last longer with lower numbers! You can also keep it simple and take two pieces of paper, write a 1 and a 2 and flip them over. Mix them up before each turn. We like to use these little bear counters for our game pieces. https://amzn.to/3FyBQrR. These also make great counters. I like the cubes because they have so many uses. https://amzn.to/3TTf9D7 .
